Setting: 1940’s Insane Asylum
Dr. Magnus Vaughn, is the Chief of Staff at Dreary Oaks Asylum. Recently, scandal has surrounded not only the doctor but the staff as well. A malpractice suit has been brought against Dr. Vaughn for the wrongful death of a patient. If the suit moves further, not only will Dr. Vaughn lose his license to practice medicine but the facility will close down permanently.
Several members of the staff have been at odds with the doctor since the lawsuit began and the morale has dropped immensely. His own wife has filed for divorce due to the tension from all the allegations that have been made and soon the tension and chaos lead to death.

In Hika Bay, Wisconsin, friends, Kolbe, Addy and Oliver are enjoying the start of their summer vacation. Living so near to Lake Michigan, they often find themselves exploring the rocky shoreline for hours. Everyday they find a new collection of rocks, shells and other treasures that wash ashore.
But one morning the kids found something they never expected to find. Tucked between the large boulders was a clear plastic bag containing a beautiful blue diamond wrapped in a black velvet cloth.
After admiring the diamond, they wrapped it back up and placed it back where they found it so they could notify the police. But when they arrived back to the shore with the officer, the diamond was gone.
Earlier that morning, the local Maritime Museum reported that a rare and extremely valuable blue diamond had been stolen from the museum.
